After Kara and T-ara both changed to a darker concept for their comebacks, it seems like they'll be following each other's footsteps for a bit longer, seeing as it was just announced both of them will be debuting in Japan. Both the female groups are already preparing for a debut into the Japanese scene later on this year, with Kara previously holding a showcase for over 4,000+ fans, and T-ara reuniting with Supernova for a CF campaign with one of the biggest and most successful restaurant chains in Japan, it seems the girls are off to a nice start. A representative for Kara has stated, “Plans are in the works for Kara to release an album in Japan around June/July. This is because of the great reception from all the fans and the media when Kara held their showcase.” While on the other hand, a rep for T-ara said, "T-ara has plans for a debut in March. The girls will fly into Japan on Sunday for a five day stay. During the stay they are scheduled to attend a press conference regarding their Japanese single, as well as shoot a commercial with boy band Supernova." Who do you predict will come out on top?
